Instagram Reels often mix voiceover with text placed directly on the image. This tool uses an accessible caption track when one is available, or transcribes the audio. A silent heading, ingredient label, or price shown only on screen is outside the transcript.
The result labels whether it came from captions or speech-to-text. It is not a translation: non-English speech stays in the original language. Names, overlapping voices, and loud music can introduce errors, so check the source before quoting or publishing.
Supported Instagram links and limits
Paste a public instagram.com/reel/... or instagram.com/reels/... link. This tool supports videos up to 5 minutes for speech-to-text. It cannot access private accounts, Stories, removed Reels, or content that Instagram makes unavailable.
Two transcript requests per day are shared across this tool and the TikTok transcript generator, including requests for videos previously transcribed. The allowance resets at midnight UTC. Copying the text or downloading TXT and SRT from your result does not use another request.
