Campaign Tracking · part of the Octohog AI CMO
The campaign spreadsheet that fills itself.
Campaign Tracking is influencer campaign management run by your AI CMO. Create a campaign, add the creators you've booked, and Octohog keeps the books: every video found on TikTok and Instagram, its numbers written down day by day, pace and analytics per creator, and a pay ledger that always knows who's owed what. You read the board and settle up.
How do you track an influencer campaign with Octohog?
You set the terms once. Octohog syncs every creator daily, attaches the posts that match your rules, tallies views and engagement, and accrues what each creator has earned.
Step 01You · 3 min
Set the terms
Pick UGC accounts, Influencer, or Ad assets; set the window and the pay.
Step 02You · 1 min
Add your creators
Import them from Find Creators, or add any TikTok or Instagram handle.
Step 03Your agent
It counts what counts
The daily sync attaches posts by hashtag, mention, or keyword, and tallies the stats.
Step 04You · 2 min a week
Read the board, settle up
Pace per creator, a weekly digest, and an owed balance that's always current.
Three kinds of campaign, then the money.
Step one: pick what you're running. UGC accounts, where every post on a dedicated account counts. Influencer, where rules pick the branded posts out of a personal account. Or Ad assets, where creators deliver files for paid media. Step two: define the pay, exactly the way the deal was struck.
- Per post, per 1K views (CPM), a retainer per cycle, a hybrid of base plus CPM, or analytics only.
- Bonus milestones on top: cross 50K or 100K views and the bonus accrues, stacking optional.
- A preset, not a fork: terms live on the campaign, override per creator, edit anything after launch.
Every video, checked every single day.
Octohog pulls each creator's TikTok and Instagram daily and writes down every attributed video's views, likes, comments, shares and saves, day by day. The 30-day chart shows the campaign's line jump the day a video takes off, and the trail under it shows exactly which video did it.
Every post keeps its full trail from the day it landed, all five metrics chart together with the series you care about toggled on, and when tomorrow's sync feels too far away, every creator has a refresh button good for once a day.
Which creator is actually delivering?
Every campaign gets a live board: posts delivered against target, the pace called per creator, views side by side. The weekly digest names the top post and the top creator, so doubling down stops being a guess.
- Delivered vs target per creator, with ahead, on track, or behind called for you.
- A 30-day chart of views, likes, comments, shares and saves for every campaign.
- Tune Ranking reorders your roster by consistency, momentum, breakouts, and cost.
Who's owed what, right now?
Set the pay terms per campaign or per creator: per post, per 1K views, a retainer per cycle, bonus milestones, or a hybrid. As posts land, the ledger accrues what each creator earned. Accrued, paid, and owed are always current.
Payouts stay manual on purpose: Octohog keeps the books, you send the money through your own channel and record it in one click, or settle the whole due queue at once. Every entry stays on the record, CSV export included.
Which posts count? You decide once.
Count every post a creator publishes, or only what matches your rules: a hashtag, a mention, a keyword in the caption. The daily sync applies them. A missed post is attached in one click; a wrong match is excluded in one.
- Wrong match? Exclude it. Missed post? Attach it. Rules are a helper, not a cage.
- Excluded posts stay visible and reversible: nothing is silently deleted.
- Hashtags, mentions and caption keywords, up to 20 of each per campaign.
Posting to a fresh account? Warm it up first.
A brand-new account should look alive before brand content lands. Warmup mode watches the account through its first days, grades each one, and flags a stall before it costs you a launch. The run ends with a clear call: ready for content, or give it a few more days.
Pick a 3, 5, 7 or 14 day run, up to 30. Warmups ride the same nightly checks as the rest of your roster, and every run, every stall and every verdict shows up as a badge right on the creator list.
How is Campaign Tracking different from a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet can hold a campaign, but you're the one holding the spreadsheet: chasing links in DMs, pasting view counts that are stale by lunch, and working out who's been paid from your banking app.
Collecting the posts
Creators DM links; you paste rows at midnight.
Attached by the daily sync
Every member's account checked daily, posts attributed by your rules: hashtag, mention, keyword, or all posts.
The numbers
Stale the moment you type them.
Refreshed every day
Views, likes, comments, shares and saves per post, rolled up per creator and per campaign.
Who's performing
Sort a column, squint, guess.
A pace board that knows
Delivered vs target with ahead, on track, or behind called per creator, plus a weekly digest naming the top post and top creator.
Who's owed what
A formula you hope is right.
A ledger that never forgets
Per post, CPM, retainer, bonus milestones, or hybrid terms accrue automatically as posts land.
Paying out
Scroll the DMs, cross-check the bank.
One due queue
Every open balance in one place: record a payout, or mark all paid in one click. You send the money your way; the book stays straight.
A spreadsheet remembers what you typed. Campaign Tracking counts what actually happened: every post, every view, every dollar owed.
Asked, answered, on the record.
Campaign Tracking runs your creator campaigns after booking. Group creators into a campaign with tracking rules and pay terms, and Octohog checks their TikTok and Instagram accounts daily, counts the posts that match, tallies views, likes, comments, shares and saves, and keeps a running ledger of what each creator is owed. It covers TikTok and Instagram, and a creator card can carry one handle on each.
Campaign Tracking is one arm. Here's the rest of the octopus.
